Hello! My name is Mike Volitich, and I'm a sports therapy student at UCLA. As a sports and fitness enthusiast, I am learning a lot from my classes. Though I really enjoy doing sports, I have long accepted that I'm not cut out for the pro leagues. However, I still make time to play basketball or ultimate frisbee with friends. When I have free days, I go on a hiking or kayaking trip.  The best way to stay fit is by doing the things you enjoy.  While you have to spend hours at the gym to condition your body, you can shake things up by being active and enjoying the beauty of nature. Trust me, an hour of kayaking will leave your muscles sore.

Aside from physical activities, being fit means practicing healthy habits. For me, it's about eating the balanced diet and getting the right amount of rest. A healthy lifestyle doesn't have to make you suffer. You just have to learn to choose what's best for your mind and body.
